Cabling Technician

Hunter Communications is an established and growing telecommunications company offering limited energy services, high IT/internet service provider. For this position, having a Limited Energy ‘B ‘license or better is preferred. We are looking for an organized, detailed oriented, problem solver capable of placing CAT 5, 5E and 6 cables as well as multi mode and single mode fiber optics.  This position also involves performing service calls. Multi pair phone splicing is a plus. We will train the right person to splice fiber. This position requires a team player, willingness to work outdoors, & a can do–take charge attitude. AERIAL LINEMAN

• Hardware placement planning and implementation for cable and fiber,
• Construction
• Placement of EMT boxes
• Operating various tools
• Supervising
• Operating bucket trucks
• Knowledge and practice of safety procedures
• Handling paperwork and following office procedures

3 years minimum experience. LELJ preferred. Good driving record.
